Garlic Chicken
There are also plenty of other recipes out there in which you don't need any sort of replacement for butter or milk and things like that.
Here's my recipe for a simple, baked garlic chicken.
What you will need:
Boneless, Skinless chicken breasts (However, be sure to double check when you purchase these to make sure there isn't milk or something somewhere in them, I've had this happen a time or two)
Garlic Salt
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Ground Black Pepper
Chopped Onion (Optional)
Chopped Garlic (Optional)
High walled baking pan
Bowl
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
Mix all of the seasonings in a bowl to your liking
Rub both sides of your chicken with your mixture and place in baking pan
(Optional): You could wrap these in foil if you prefer for an easier cleanup and slightly juicer chicken
Place your pan of chicken in the oven for 40-50 minutes
(Larger pieces of chicken will take longer to cook)
It should look golden on the outside, but the internal temperature should be 165 degrees F
Serve with whatever sides you'd like!
Alternative:
This can also be cooked in a slow cooker
Season your chicken the same way
Place in slow cooker
Cover about halfway with chicken stock
Place lid on slow cooker and turn it on (4 hours for high, 7-8 hours for slow)
This will result in an easily shredded chicken
